Abstract

This IDC Market Forecast describes the size and growth of the European IT training and education market for 2018 to 2026. It includes our forecast across major countries as well as primary software markets. It also illustrates the split of training delivery modality for 2019 and 2026. These forecasts consider the impact of COVID-19 on all forecast assumptions, according to the most recent macroeconomic inputs from the first week of June 2022.

"While COVID-19 was a strong inhibitor to classroom-based IT training, the industry saw an opportunity to rapidly shift toward remote delivery modalities, which became the standard of the current European IT training landscape. Once the shift happened, better cost efficiency brought by remote delivery enabled training providers to become a daily component of customers' L&D operations.
