This IDC TechScape analyzes the boundaries between aspiration, reality, and hype of AI technology for patient care within European hospitals. It intends to help senior hospital executives to assess their organizations' technology landscape to determine whether their efforts to scale AI are aligned with the industry's technology adoption progress. This IDC TechScape model is designed to capture progress in the adoption of AI solutions within the hospital setting to improve patient care.
