Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight provides insight into the roles that organizations across EMEA are investing in to support digital innovation as well as identifies the impact of not hiring certain roles on these strategies. This document contains data from IDC EMEA's Future Enterprise Resilience Survey — Wave 10, conducted in October and November 2021. The purpose of this survey series (12 monthly surveys) is to explore a range of topics related to IT spending priorities, digital resiliency, and technology/organizational priorities as organizations adapt and react to the reopening of business and global commerce. The Wave 10 survey collected replies from 430 respondents across EMEA and included a wide range of industries, with participants from both IT and line-of-business (LOB) decision makers.

"IDC research shows that while investments are being made in executive level leadership to drive digital innovation strategies, there is a potential skills gap that needs to be addressed if organizations are to execute successfully on these strategies," said Jen Thomson, associate vice president, Accelerated App Delivery Europe.
