Abstract

This IDC Web Conference is a presentation of the Nordic trends and insights in 2022 and beyond for the IT industry. The economies in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden have stayed clear of a real downturn during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021. They are expected to grow at pre-COVID-19 levels in the coming 24 to 48 months. This is the backdrop for IDC's forecast of a robust Nordic rebound for IT investments toward 2025. It is an essential driver for digital transformation in businesses and organizations in all four markets.

In this second conference proceeding from IDC Nordic Directions 2022, Martin Sundblad, research manager, IDC Nordics, explores the resilience discussion and its implications on digital transformation and the Nordic rebound for IT investments. It discusses four main points:
