Abstract
This IDC Market Presentation discusses patterns in employee experience (EX) in Europe based on a European IDC survey of 2,785 employees from March 2022. The objective of this study is to provide human capital management (HCM) software vendors as well as European employers with fact-based understanding on what composes employee experience in Europe based on IDC's Seven Pillars of Employee Experience.
"European organizations are struggling to understand what employee experience is, as well as which aspects are more important for employees and where the largest gaps are. We have proven a very strong correlation between good EX and low attrition risk. This document demonstrates that European employers and providers of HCM applications in Europe can bridge some of the current gaps in employee experience," said Bo Lykkegaard, AVP for software research in Europe.
