This IDC Perspective outlines guiding principles for island leaders, national governments, and regional bodies that want position islands as innovators and demonstrators of smart and sustainable solutions. Smart and sustainable islands harness digital technologies and data to drive better social, environmental, and economic outcomes for citizens, businesses, and visitors.
