Abstract


This IDC Survey Spotlight examines a portion of the European sample of the IDC Energy Insights Utilities Consumer Survey carried out in June and July 2022. It surveyed 720 energy customers from France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, and the U.K.

This report is the first of a series of documents unveiling energy consumers' point of view over areas such as customer expectations and satisfaction, communication channels, reasons for interactions with energy suppliers, customer experience and the customer journey, as well as interest in new energy products and services. This IDC Survey Spotlight examines the Net Promoter Scores (NPS) of European energy suppliers, on average and across consumer age groups, as well as its evolution from the previous (2020) edition of the survey.
