Abstract
This IDC Market Forecast analyzes the European unified communications as a service market over the 2020–2025 forecast period. UCaaS momentum is being driven by hybrid work. The trend is to unify communications and collaboration modalities into one app to enhance user experience and work fluidity. With collaboration tools now mostly residing in the cloud, businesses aim to have voice in the cloud as well for seamless integration. They are, however, taking a cautious and structured approach to cloud migration when it comes to voice to avoid disruptions to workflow.
"Going forward, vendors need to offer migration support and hybrid deployment options to help businesses migrate to cloud smoothly," said Oru Mohiuddin, senior research manager, IDC European Unified Communications and Collaboration.
