Abstract
This IDC PeerScape provides a selection of best practices among several ones across Europe. IDC believes this network upgrade trend will continue in 2023, together with the launch of more sophisticated use cases that will be leveraging the advanced capabilities of 5G networks, together with other adjacent technologies such as cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), and EDGE.
"5G deployments in private environments and 5G network upgrades are being carefully selected by CSPs and enterprises, as resources are limited and companies need to optimize their investments," said Alejandro Cadenas, associate vice president, IDC European Mobility. "Companies that can secure investments in transformative technologies will emerge much stronger from the challenging environment."
