Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight is the first of a series of reports that highlight results of an end-user study conducted in 2Q22 by IDC's European Imaging, Printing, and Document Solutions (IPDS) Research Group. The survey aimed at providing insight into market dynamics related to print and document management. During the COVID-19 pandemic, due to disturbed supply chains and components shortages, some customers had to use non-genuine/compatible cartridges. This document shows how many continue to use non-genuine ink and toner cartridges and how many would switch back to using genuine cartridges in Western Europe.
