Abstract

This IDC Survey is the third in the series of IDC Health Insights reports examining European life sciences organizations' digital transformation (DX) strategies and priorities across the five key dimensions of DX: leadership and culture, operations, patients and customers, intelligence and insights, and work model transformation.

This report focuses on the "patients and customers" dimension. The analysis is based on IDC's European Tech and Industry Pulse Survey 20192020, a landmark study of IT solutions, investment priorities, and emerging technologies. The 2020 sample, which included Russia, Poland, and the Czech Republic, represented more than 75% of the European economy (in terms of the GDP of 40 countries). The life sciences sample consisted of 137 respondents in 13 countries.
