Japan Unified Communications and Collaboration Enterprise User Survey 2015

Author: Takashi Manabe Group Director, Software & Security / IT Spending, IDC Japan
Abstract

This IDC study presents the analyses on unified communications and collaboration usage trends among enterprise users based on the 2015 Enterprise Collaboration User Survey conducted in July 2015. It analyzes VoIP equipment and services, unified applications, and contact center systems usage trends and intentions of enterprise users.

"Vendors, systems integrators, and service providers should appeal to partners and promote cloud-first voice systems and UC systems that match the progress in cloud services utilization in user companies, as well as continue to promote unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) systems that will wipe out security concerns faced by user companies," says Takashi Manabe, software and security group manager, IDC Japan.
