Abstract
This study provides spending forecasts for the Japan business analytics (BA) and artificial intelligence (AI) services markets. The Japan BA services market and the Japan AI services market both achieved double-digit growth. In the BA services market, growth is driven by an increase in projects related to the construction of corporate data utilization platforms, while in the AI services market, demand for support services expanded as AI use cases grew and diversified. "The Japan BA and AI services markets will continue to gain strong demand as companies shift to data-driven businesses, diversify AI use cases, engage in intelligent operations, and make greater use of cloud computing. Strengthening capabilities to meet these demands should be a top priority for service vendors as they support their clients' transformation to digital business," says Takuya Uemura, group manager, IT Services, IDC Japan.
