Abstract
本調査レポートでは、IoTインフラユーザーにおけるインテリジェントエッジの利用動向を踏まえ、インテリジェントエッジにおいて、深層学習、機械学習といった高度なデータ分析を行うAI（Artificial Intelligence：人工知能）技術の実装方法を調査し類型化を行った。また、代表的なインテリジェントエッジ製品を例示し主な特徴について調査した。
IDC Japan エンタープライズインフラストラクチャのリサーチマネージャーである下河邊 雅行は「IoTエッジにおけるデータ分析が多様化し、AI技術を利用して高度なデータ分析処理を行うインテリジェントエッジのニーズは拡大する。IoTインフラベンダーは、インテリジェントエッジにおけるAI技術の実装方式を見極めながら、インテリジェントエッジの製品ラインナップを強化していくことが必要である」と説明している。
