Abstract

IDCのFuture of Digital Infrastructure AgendaプログラムのリサーチバイスプレジデントであるMary Johnston Turnerは、「将来的には、企業の成功は、高度に分散した新世代の労働者、データ集約型アプリケーションおよびサービスのために最適化した、デジタルインフラアーキテクチャと管理戦略に、大いに左右されることになるであろう。Future of Digital Infrastructureでは、高度に自動化され、俊敏で、ワークロードを意識した「Distributed by Design（分散を前提に設計されたアーキテクチャ）」という環境が求められる。ITと事業部門のリーダーは積極的に協力し、デジタルビジネスにおける優先順位とKPI（Key Performance Indicator）に沿った投資を行っていく必要があるであろう」と述べている。
