Abstract

Digital transformation and customer behavior are permanent changes, so organizations must see digitization as a trend of continuous evolution and innovation. IDC advises Latin American companies to adopt a customer-centric mindset and plan accordingly. Trust must always be a business goal and priority; therefore, security and connectivity are essential to anticipate emergencies and ensure resilience. To summarize, organizations must focus on digitizing their processes and operations, prioritizing gaining and maintaining customers' trust.

"A substantial percentage of a digital enterprise's revenue depends upon the infrastructure's security, responsiveness, scalability, and resiliency. Infrastructure ecosystems as a financial and consumption model as a Service increasingly focus on ensuring ever-faster delivery of innovative and secure infrastructure hardware, software, and process technologies to support resilient digital use cases and experiences like the generic use case we showed at the beginning of this document, and that clearly shows the crucial role of trust in today's online commerce," says Carlo Davila, IDC Research Manager, IDC WW Enterprise Trackers Research.
