Abstract

This IDC Technology Segment covers Türkiye and provides unit, value ($M), and share (%) data for the HCP market over the 2017–2021 period. It also presents in-depth and up-to-date profiles of the top-performing vendors, covering local presence and structure, 2021 revenue breakdowns by line of business, distribution channel structure, major contracts and projects won during the year, marketing campaigns and promotions conducted, services and document solutions offered, and channel partner programs.

"Although the overall market contracted in unit terms (because of the sharp decrease in inkjet shipments), the Turkish HCP market recorded only a slight contraction in value terms in 2021, which can be attributed to healthy growth in the laser segment. The resolution of product shortages, pent-up demand, and ongoing government tender contracts will be the main drivers of the market in 2022. However, rising ASPs due to Turkish lira depreciation, a slower-than-expected economic recovery, and post-COVID-19 challenges continue to be major inhibitors. As end users postpone any unnecessary IT investments, vendors will need to find ways of increasing revenues in a market where growth is limited. Vendors will need to ensure continued profit streams by partnering with VARs with large customer bases, making printing more efficient, and delivering more value to end users." — Program Manager Zeynep Kilic, IDC Türkiye
