Abstract

This IDC Survey provides a fresh view of the digital aspirations of supply chain organizations in the Middle East. As technology has proven useful in times of crisis, organizations are accelerating their digital journeys. This report examines the critical business challenges faced by supply chain business units and their business priorities, technology challenges, digital initiatives, and technology adoption trends. It presents the results of a 2022 survey IDC conducted among Middle East supply chain decision makers in three key verticals — manufacturing, trade (retail and wholesale), and transportation (including logistics and freight transport but excluding passenger transport). The report examines application modernization, cloud deployment, IoT deployment, and automation.
