Warren Childs

Consulting Director, Custom Solutions

Warren Childs has extensive experience in the collection and analysis of market research related to emerging technologies. He has a strong background in quantitative research analysis and managing large-scale, global surveys.   At IDC, he is a Consulting Director for US Custom Solutions and Practice Lead for the IDC Buyer Behavior Program.


Mr. Childs has more than 30 years of experience in the market research industry managing primary research projects.  Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Childs previously worked as the Director of Market Research with the Business Research Group of Cahners Publishing Company in Newton, MA. In this position he was responsible for the design, implementation and publication of research that covered a wide variety of technologies and business issues. He also initiated and served as Program Director for the Business Research Group's Small Business, Middle Market, and User Sending multi-client research programs.
