Donald Jin

As director of worldwide software consulting, Donald Jin brings a team of IDC analysts, researchers and other resources at IDC to provide software clients with custom marketing and market intelligence solutions.   Mr. Jin brings over 20 years of experience working with major software clients to design and apply market research to inform strategic planning, sales and market strategy and go-to-market solutions.  His projects have included market opportunity sizing, competitor analysis, sales enablement tools, and validating market positioning and messaging.  


Prior to IDC, Mr. Jin held a senior consulting position with a market brand consulting firm, and senior corporate marketing positions with companies in manufacturing and healthcare industries.
