Group Vice President, Worldwide Services

Rebecca Segal is Group Vice President for Worldwide Services and leads IDC's research on IT and business services.  Her team is highly focused on the role of services firms in advancing the digital agendas of their clients while also growing their own businesses in a highly competitive and constantly changing environment.  From strategy consulting to systems integration to managed services, the worldwide services team looks at key growth areas for services including digital transformation, the IoT, cognitive/AI systems and their applicability in the services industry, as well as the transformation of legacy services areas such as ERP.

BACKGROUND

Ms. Segal began her career at IDC over 30 years ago after a research role in state government.  She is an Adjunct Professor in Marketing Research in the Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management at Boston College.
