As Consulting Director, Michael Hyjek directs IDC's research teams in providing clients with strategic analysis, market research, industry perspective and business planning counsel. Michael assists clients with designing, introducing, marketing and positioning products/services; developing marketing communications programs and creating compelling message statements; improving partner programs and practices to identify, recruit, and leverage relationships; identifying and targeting high-opportunity market segments; and improving product and service quality through customer and channel satisfaction measurement.
In his 8+ years at IDC Canada, Michael Hyjek had extensive experience executing primary and secondary market research programs across a variety of progressively senior analyst and management roles including competitive analysis, quarterly data collection, survey-based research, and market assessments.
Prior to joining IDC Canada, Michael was Director of Sales for a conference management firm. He earned a Degree in Economics and a post-graduate Diploma in Management Studies, from Wilfrid Laurier University.
