Senior Research Manager, EMEA Surveys and Analysis
As a senior research manager for IDC EMEA's Surveys and Analysis Group, Alexandrina is responsible for managing EMEA quantitative and qualitative primary research projects. Her duties include costing projects, sample design, questionnaire writing, statistical data analysis, and reporting to clients. In this role, she frequently liaises with IDC's analysts and consultants, market research suppliers, and external clients.
Alexandrina is based in IDC's London office. Before joining IDC EMEA in November 2010, she spent five years with IDC Canada, leading B2B and B2C survey research projects and managing an online panel of IT decision-makers. Before that, she spent two years as a research analyst with IDC's global Software Business Solutions group, conducting software research and writing research reports.
Prior to joining IDC, Alexandrina held a marketing research position with a publishing company based in New York City. She also worked as a graduate research assistant for Eagleton Institute of Politics, a research and public service unit of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
Alexandrina received her BA in sociology from Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania and attended a postgraduate sociology program at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, for two years. In addition to her native Romanian, she speaks fluent English and conversational French.
