Group Vice President, Cloud IaaS, Computing, Storage and Infrastructure Software

Laura DuBois serves as Group Vice President for IDC's Cloud IaaS, computing platforms, storage, and system infrastructure software research, quarterly trackers, end-user research as well as advisory services and consulting projects.   She leads research spanning topics such as IoT, cloud computing, SaaS infrastructure services, software-defined infrastructure and the impact of machine learning and artificial intelligence on enterprise infrastructure. She oversees a team of analysts responsible for identifying and analyzing vendor strategies, emerging technology and market and customer trends affecting IT buyers and datacenters worldwide.   Ms. DuBois speaks frequently at industry, IT supplier and end user events around the world and is often quoted in leading business and technology publications.
 

BACKGROUND

Prior to joining IDC, Ms. DuBois held various leadership positions in product management, software engineering and product marketing for companies such as EMC Corporation, StorageNetworks, Hitachi Data Systems and PictureTel Corporation.
