Brian Klatt

Brian Klatt is a consulting director in IDC's Worldwide Services Industry Research Group where he manages custom research and consulting projects for clients in the technology and business services industry. In this role, he provides strategic consulting and analysis to assist companies with identifying market opportunities, developing strategic marketing messages, and performing competitive analysis. Mr. Klatt brings over 13 years of B2B IT research experience to IDC, including international coverage in Europe and Asia Pacific. His broad industry expertise comes from working with numerous IT suppliers, providing solutions across myriad industries.


Throughout his career, Mr. Klatt has worked with leading software, platform and services vendors to help them better understand how buyers make purchase decisions and how vendors can better address buyer needs via product design, marketing communications, and sales efforts. He has an in-depth understanding of research methodologies and has designed and implemented various studies across a broad range of topics. Mr. Klatt has also been instrumental in developing several research methodologies, which have been successfully implemented and proven at a number of large client organizations.
