Senior Research Manager, Worldwide Hardware Assembly Research, IDC Taiwan
Annabelle Hsu is a senior research manager of the IDC Worldwide Hardware Assembly research team. She oversees research activities and provides analysis and insight into areas such as display, tablet original design manufacturers (ODMs), smartphone ODMs, and wearable ODMs, among other areas.
Annabelle and her team not only provide ODM industry intelligence and competitive analysis but also in-depth supply chain analysis and vendor strategies. Their research is built on their numerous contacts in the industry. In addition, her team is also frequently interviewed and quoted by leading media, such as Reuters and BBC News.
Prior to joining IDC, Annabelle was a research manager with Market Intelligence Center (MIC), a consulting and research department under the Institute for Information Industry (III), overseeing research activities in small-, medium-, and large-area display panels, LCD monitors, and LCD TV segments. In addition, she was also responsible for PC-related integrated circuit (IC) (CPU and chipset) and IC design service/system on a chip research.
Prior to MIC, Annabelle was a system analyst with VIA Technologies, in which she developed extensive experience in enterprise resource planning, logistics, and IC design and process flow. Annabelle holds a master's degree in business administration from the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology in Taiwan.
