Research Manager, User Research, EMEA
Having joined IDC in November 2007 as Research Manager in IDC CEMA's End-User Research Group, based in Prague, Petr Zizka is responsible for end-user research activities, from project initiation to reporting to external clients, as well as for providing research support to IDC's analysts. His expertise in statistical software is complemented by his ability to program in several scripting languages in order to automate workflow processes and generate new added value.
Prior to joining IDC, Petr had worked as a market researcher for nine years. Most recently, he served as the Head of the Analytical Department at one of the leading marketing research companies in the Czech Republic. During this period, he oversaw a team of 12 analysts and led dozens of research projects covering various research areas, including customer satisfaction, perceived brand image, and SWOT analysis. He was also responsible for applying the method of computer-assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) to regular fieldwork operations.
