Jiri Tersel is a senior research analyst managing tablets and wearables research at IDC CEMA, overseeing a team of country analysts.

His duties include both abstract knowledge and experience transfer as well as specific automation and problem solving.   

He also leads a "European Union Public Sector Deals Database" product (https://www.idc.com/getdoc.jsp?containerId=IDC_P29780), a comprehensive database of public-sector spending within the European Union.

Jiri joined IDC in 2010 as an intern while completing master’s level studies. He holds a master’s degree in theoretical computer science from Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic.                                                        

Computer security, automation, machine learning, non-classical formal logics, and energy markets are among his primary interests from both the technical and non-technical perspectives.
