Evelyn Pineda

Telecom Research & Consulting Manager, Latin America

 

Evelyn Pineda serves as Telecom Research & Consulting Manager for IDC Latin America. She is responsible for managing the telecom hardware research at a regional level. She also conducts research on telecom marketplace across the region.

For five years, Evelyn has focused on telecommunications and IT services analysis such as: fixed and mobile telephony, internet and data transmission, data center services, integration, maintenance and outsourcing of infrastructure and applications in Mexican market. She has also developed special studies on Security Operation Centers (SOCs), e-learning and technology demand segmentation models in Mexico.

Prior to joining IDC, she worked for five years as Convergence Services Manager in Select Estrategia. In that position she was responsible for both Telecommunications and ICT Services.

Evelyn Pineda has a Bachelors degree in International Relations from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), with specialization in International Trade in Services.
