Giancarlo Vercellino is research manager at IDC Italy, where he is responsible for market research in the software area and is involved in consulting engagements with multinational clients in the IT industry.
Before joining IDC, Vercellino was market analyst, consultant and business manager for different institutions, large companies and research centers in Turin's ICT District and was also adjunct professor of economics at the local Polytechnic school.
Vercellino has a M.Sc. in IT Strategic management at the Polytechnic of Turin and a Ph.D. in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan. He was also International Student at the UCLA Global Access Program attending different MBA courses at the Anderson School of Management.
