Leading a team of specialized experts in content creation and globalization (editorial, graphics, video production, translations) plus professional project delivery and execution, Mr. Picanso works with global clients on developing and utilizing research based content marketing solutions in every aspect of their corporate outreach plans.  

With the “Buyers Journey” as a blueprint for content mapping, Christopher recommends a unique and custom approach for each client from traditional written documents through engaging online video and microsites, always working to drive awareness or lead generation with IDC content at the forefront.


Prior to his current role within Custom Solutions, Mr. Picanso worked as part of IDC’s Go To Market Services (GMS) team for several years delivering content programs to large enterprises globally based on published research content. Before coming to IDC, he spent over a decade in the computer hardware/software VAR (value added reseller) marketplace in multiple roles including corporate sales, product management, marketing and as a senior hardline buyer.
