Peggy Cheung

Research Manager

Peggy Cheung is a Research Manager with IDC’s Asia/Pacific Client Devices Research Group. Based in Hong Kong, Peggy leads the Asia Pacific Tablet Tracker. In this role, she is responsible for sizing and forecasting the tablet market on a quarterly basis, and coordinating with IDC country analysts from the region. She is also responsible for research projects for the Mobile Phone Tracker in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining IDC, Peggy was a Senior Marketing Executive in SmarTone. Her main responsibility was to plan, implement and monitor new marketing programs and provide ongoing performance review on mobile broadband products and emerging devices such as tablets. Peggy also has four years of working experience in the market research field. She was responsible for providing support in different media research including multi-market up-scale readership survey. She also worked on global media projects outside Asia such as Middle East, Latin America and South Africa.

Peggy holds a Master of Philosophy and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
