Swapna Subramani

Senior Research Manager, Enterprise HW, MEA

Swapna Subramani worked for IDC from 2008 until mid-2010 within the PCs and Systems group, in which she handled IDC's PC tracker across key countries in the Middle East. Swapna rejoined IDC in March 2013 as part of the enterprise team, managing the storage and virtualization research programs for the Middle East and Africa region.

During her time away from IDC, Subramani worked at 451 Research, in San Francisco, as a senior analyst responsible for market sizing and custom projects related to cloud computing and virtualization technologies. Subramani was also actively engaged in business development and marketing activities to promote quantitative services within this boutique research and consultancy firm.

Swapna Subramani is currently pursuing a part-time PhD in technology management from IIT Bombay. She also holds an MBA degree, having majored in marketing, and graduated as an electrical engineer from the University of Alberta, Canada.
