Senior Research Manager, User Research, Middle East and Africa
Mr. Ashraf Ghazzawi joined IDC as a research manager in the UAE in February 2013. He is responsible for end-user research for the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, supervising a comprehensive services portfolio provided to external clients as well as to IDC consultants and analysts. His role is to assess clients’ objectives and find the most suitable means to address these objectives through customized primary research of the demand side. His responsibility ranges from survey design, including sample definition, methodology, and execution, to the delivery of the survey results and their interpretation. Prior to joining IDC, he spent 14 years at Nielsen. The first 9 years were spent in Egypt, where he began his career as a statistician and was involved in analysis and modeling for the telecom industry. He later moved to a different role in Nielsen UAE, where he was exposed to client servicing and project management.
