Martin Kuban

Senior Research Analyst

Martin Kuban is a Senior Research Analyst for IDC Manufacturing Insights, responsible for research practice in the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEMA) region. In this role, he conducts primary and secondary research with both IT vendors and manufacturing end users, with an emphasis on adoption of 3rd Platform technologies and innovation accelerators, and on manufacturing digital transformation strategies. Mr. Kuban regularly provides strategic consulting services to leading manufacturers and specialty IT vendors, addressing challenges and trends affecting their strategies in CEMA. 

BACKGROUND

Before joining IDC in July 2013, Martin Kuban worked as a consultant and project manager at ATTN Consulting and as a business analyst at Deloitte. His key focus area was helping manufacturing companies with business process modeling, KPI measurement, and employee performance management, by implementing a system called ATTIS — a software suite for improving organizations' efficiency, with emphasis on a process-driven approach to management. 

 EDUCATION/INDUSTRY ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Master's degree in international trade from the University of Economics in Prague.
  • Producer of IDC’s Driving Competitiveness in Manufacturing events in the CEMA region, and speaker at industry conferences.
