Eric Bloom

Adjunct Research Advisor

A former CIO, Eric Bloom is the Executive Director of the IT Management and Leadership Institute, a contributing writer to, TEDx speaker, and a bestselling author and columnist.  


Prior to his current role, Eric was a senior IT executive at firms including Fidelity Investments,, and Independence Investments. He is a recognized thought leader on maximizing the value of technical skill and knowledge though enhanced interpersonal communication and business acumen. He works with IT executives, project managers, scrum masters and others to prepare themselves and their IT organizations in an everchanging business and technological landscape.


Eric has undergraduate degrees in computer systems and accounting from Bentley University and an MBA from Babson College. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at Bentley University and Boston University. Eric is also the past president of National Speakers Association New England.
