Lydie Virollet

Market Analyst

Lydie is responsible for Cybersecurity and the IT Services research for IDC Australia.

 She joined IDC early 2014 in the ANZ Software research team. Later on, she took over the Cybersecurity research for ANZ. Since January 2017, she has been managing the IT Services research in conjunction with the Cybersecurity research.
In this role, Lydie is responsible for syndicated research, and custom engagements and deliveries, which include providing qualitative analysis and market insights. She establishes the market sizing, segmentation, forecasts and trends for her research areas. Lydie has an avid interest in monitoring shifts in the vendor ecosystem as new entrants challenge the established players, and as IT vendors are being acquired and merged.

Lydie brings strong quantitative and qualitative skills acquired during her education and work experience.

She holds a Master of International Business and Strategy from the Australian School of Business (UNSW), and a Master of Business Administration with a specialisation in Finance from the INSEEC Business School in France.

Prior to arriving in Australia, she worked across Spain, France and the Netherlands, in Accounting and Management Consulting.
