Laura Petrone

Senior Research Analyst

Laura Petrone is a senior research analyst in the EMEA Consumer Mobile team. Based in London, she is involved in gathering and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to create research studies on current trends and developments in the Western Europe mobile market, including forecasting, market share reporting and vendor analysis. She is also product manager of the subscription service "EMEA Telcos Strategy for Mass-Market Digital Transformation", planning the service research schedule and coordinating analysts’ researches for the service.

Prior to joining IDC in April 2015, Petrone worked as a researcher with the Institute for the Study of International Politics (ISPI) and the University LUISS, specializing in political and economic analysis. Before that, she spent two years in Russia, having the chance to research at the Moscow State Institute for International Relations (MGIMO) and at the Higher School of Economics of Moscow.

Petrone holds a Ph. D in Political Science from the Bologna University. She is fluent in English, Italian and Russian.
