Research Manager, Telecommunications

Monica Collier is a Research Manager at IDC New Zealand. Her research centres on the New Zealand Telecommunications market, including traditional telecommunications and telco driven digital services.  Monica is responsible for producing both quantitative and qualitative research on the New Zealand broadband, mobile and digital services markets, competitive dynamics between retail service providers, regulatory developments, merger & acquisition activity, and the impact of over-the-top applications (such as content) on telcos.

Specialist research areas include the Internet of Things (IoT) and Customer Experience (CX), where Monica is also a certified NPS practitioner and a SixSigma Green Belt.

Prior to joining IDC in 2014 Monica has worked in a number of analyst, designer and management roles for companies including Vodafone New Zealand, Fonterra, Telstra and Spark New Zealand.
