Weeradej Panichwisai

Research Manager

Weeradej Panichwisai is a Research Manager in IDC's Asia/Pacific Telecommunications Group. Based in Bangkok, Weeradej is responsible for research and analysis focusing on market and technology trends, competitive analysis, industry forecast and predictions, user demands, and business models for Thailand's telecommunications market. His areas of expertise include telecommunications solutions, 3G and 4G services, mobile and wireless broadband infrastructure, and mobile operating system.

Prior to joining IDC, Weeradej lent his design and consulting expertise to roll out some solutions and services of Ericsson and Huawei. He also worked for Bangkok Bank as a financial adviser and for Advanced Info Service (AIS), where he was a marketing product specialist tasked with identifying new business opportunities, handling end-to-end product development process, monitoring all stages of a product launch, and analyzing product feasibility and competitor movement.

Weeradej graduated from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Engineering. He is also an MBA degree holder, major in Finance, from National Institute of Development Administration. Moreover, he passed the Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1.
