Marta Pinto

Senior Research Analyst

Marta Pinto is a senior research analyst for European Mobile Devices team, based in the London office. In this role, she oversees the day to day operation of the IDC's European Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker. She looks into the mobile devices market dynamics across Western Europe, vendor performance, forecasts and major strategic trends among the different stakeholders and markets.

Pinto has several years’ experience in the telecom industry. Prior to joining IDC in 2016, she worked for the Altice Group, with the Innovation Management team at Altice Labs. She also worked in Corporate Communication and Events, at Portugal Telecom.

Marta holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from University of Lisbon, Portugal. She also holds a postgraduate degree in Management and Finance from Catholic University, Portugal. She’s fluent in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.
