Jefferson King

Associate Market Analyst

As an associate market analyst at IDC New Zealand, Jefferson is responsible for the market and competitive analysis of the telecommunications sector in addition to the quarterly tracking of the monitor market. His role is to conduct primary analysis and research focused on sizing and forecasting the telecommunications and monitor markets, following technology trends, and engaging with vendors and providers in the industry in New Zealand.


Previously, Jefferson worked at IDC New Zealand as a contractor. In this role, Jefferson was required to research, analyse, and report on various parts of the New Zealand ICT sector, including telecommunications.


Prior to joining IDC in 2016, Jefferson graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand with a bachelor of commerce degree, majoring in economics and marketing.
