Johnny Zhou

Johnny Zhou is a Market Analyst for the Client System Research Group of IDC China. His area of coverage includes the evaluation of the China game market value, the investigation on trends of game technologies, and the forecasting of opportunities for the gaming industry.

Before joining IDC, Zhou was a localization specialist at adaQuest, a Seattle-based intelligent service company. As a vendor of Microsoft, Zhou was responsible for the localization of Xbox products. Xbox One console in Simplified Chinese was one of his achievements.

Zhou earned his bachelor's degree in Japanese Studies from Beijing International Studies University. He also holds a master's degree in International Studies from the University of Washington Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies.
