Julia King is an award-winning business and technology journalist and veteran event moderator, with more than 25 years’ experience reporting and writing about IT executive leadership, digital disruption and business innovation. Her specialties include writing and speaking about CIO leadership issues, digital innovation and digital business transformation; conference moderation; conference content development and speaker recruitment.

BACKGROUND

Prior to launching her own content strategy and editorial services company in 2014, Julia worked as a national correspondent and executive editor at Computerworld where she also was the chief content creator and moderator of Computerworld's flagship IT Leadership event, the Premier 100 IT Leaders Conference.

Julia continues to develop conference agendas and moderate panels on a wide range of topics, from digital transformation and customer-centric IT to IT talent management and cyber-security in a digital world without borders. She regularly taps the expertise from the vast network of Fortune 1,000 CIOs and IT experts that she cultivated over more than two decades as an IT journalist.

Her IT reporting has earned a Jesse H. Neal Award, often referred to as the Pulitzer Prize of the business press. She also has received many Folio Awards for Editorial Excellence and national editorial awards from the American Society of Business Press Editors.
