Warren Lane

Research Analyst

Warren Lane is Research Analyst for IDC's CMO Advisory team and is a member of IDC's CMO and Customer Experience Practice. In this role, he provides research-backed guidance to leading technology and digital services companies on marketing investment and organization benchmarks. Warren also assists with both qualitative and quantitative research covering the key competencies of a modern marketing organization.


Warren joined IDC in 2017. Prior to joining IDC, Warren was a Research Analyst at Deltek, Inc. where he worked on market research related to government procurement projects, specifically Department of Defense. There he tracked multi-billion dollar projects, analyzed contract and market data, and created strategic market outlooks for clients.
