Diego Pandolfi is a research and consulting manager in the Italian research and consulting team, based in Milan.

Having carried out a range of digital technology market research and provided advisory services, Pandolfi has a deep knowledge of the Italian market, with a particular focus on innovation and emerging trends. He has worked with IT vendors and TLC providers to define market strategy and positioning, covering areas such as cloud computing, the Internet of Things, Big Data analytics, cybersecurity, Industry 4.0, network functions virtualization (NFV), and software-defined networking (SDN).

Before joining IDC, Pandolfi worked as a market analyst and consultant in other consulting and research companies, focusing on IT, digital innovation, digital media, and telecommunications, both in Italy and the U.K.
