Marcia Loewenstein works with clients to define their objectives for custom research and orchestrates team resources to meet those objectives. Marcia has considerable experience in the formulation and development of research and developing vendor strategies.
Previously, Marcia was a member of the management team and Vice President of Consulting at ABI Research where she worked to structure and build the consulting practice. Prior to ABI, Marcia held positions at Jupiter Research (later Forrester Research) as research director, business development director and senior analyst where she worked with clients to evaluate their strategic position and identify opportunities using a broad portfolio of approaches including market opportunity analysis, customer segmentation, competitive analysis and benchmarking. Before joining Jupiter, Loewenstein was an equity analyst for hedge funds and mutual funds where she focused on technology, healthcare and education companies, identifying secular change in those industries and analyzing its bottom line impact. Prior to obtaining her MBA, Loewenstein played key roles on the sales, operations and venture capital sides of investment banking. During her tenure in that industry, she created an innovative database and reporting tool that provided management with a 360-degree view of the business and the impact that each stock trade made to each component of the value-chain.
