Abstract

This IDC Buyer Case Study highlights the big data and analytics (BDA) challenges and opportunities faced by Luminar, a division of Entravision, and the approach the company took to overcoming those challenges by deploying technology from Kyvos Insights and Hortonworks. The case study also points out the benefits of the company's new BDA solution, including improved internal decision making as well as monetization of new data and analytics capabilities with external clients. The case study concludes with lessons learned by the Luminar team and IDC's guidance to organizations looking to advance their own BDA solutions to higher levels of maturity.
