Abstract

This IDC Manufacturing Insights Perspective provides my impression of the recent JDA Omni-Channel Road Tour session held in Chicago. The event included presentations by JDA, Meijer, and IBM provided a glimpse into JDA's vision and strategy around balancing digital and physical strategy to drive an enhanced customer experience and deliver on the promise of an omni-channel operation. The event concluded with a panel discussion around the blending of the digital world with the physical world and the impact and potential this has for disrupting retail operations.
