This IDC study presents the results of IDC's Mobile Print and Scan MaturityScape Benchmark Survey and should be viewed as a supplement to IDC MaturityScape: Mobile Print and Scan (IDC #US40188716, January 2016). This IDC study helps IT stakeholders and line-of-business (LOB) decision makers understand where their organizations are positioned with respect to mobile print and scan maturity.
Together, the two studies offer a comprehensive overview of the framework of the IDC MaturityScape for mobile print and scan. This framework identifies the stages, critical measure, business outcomes, and actions required for organizations to effectively develop a mobile strategy. This specific study presents the current state of the market based on quantitative research. These results will enable organizations to work with IDC to assess their own maturity level with respect to mobile print and scan against other U.S. organizations.
"Organizations have the opportunity to increase productivity and stakeholder satisfaction and drive competitive advantage by proactively building mobile print and scan capabilities," states Holly Muscolino, research VP, Imaging, Printing, and Document Solutions. "The most mature organizations understand the value of mobile enablement for core business workflows and processes as a component of overall business transformation."
